Edible Garden Project
"The Edible Garden Project (EGP) is working to address urban environmental and social issues by creating a network that grows and shares local food and by promoting sustainable regional agriculture. We are working to reduce the reliance on foods imported from afar by empowering residents to grow (and share) their own. The EGP is the result of an extensive community consultation process where food security was identified as a key priority area from both a community and environmental perspective.

Food Basket Program at Haliburton Farm
Interested in receiving a weekly basket of fresh, seasonal produce? Then join Haliburton Farm's Food Basket Program - an innovative way to receive a weekly basket of seasonal produce and become closer to the farmers who grow the food. Members receive personal service from the farmers on pick-up day and have questions answered on how the produce was grown or how to prepare it.
